Side Effects of Weight Gain are Dangerous for Your Health, Avoid These 3 Problems by Losing Weight

Have you noticed the side effects of weight gain when you are working around the house, walking to your mailbox, or simply going to the kitchen? Many people don't realize that the side effects of weight gain can be the aches and pains you may pass off as other problems. These three side effects can all be caused by having too much weight.

Sleep Apnea - I have had a run in with this in my family. Sleep apnea can be caused by being too overweight. Sleep apnea is when you have a problem breathing while you sleep. Many times it will force the person to wake up and out of REM sleep causing them to be much more tired in the morning. Many times you can get this checked out at a sleep center and have a breathing machine that allows you to sleep all night and wake up feeling better. My father has had to have one and he says it makes a world of difference.Achy Joints - Having too much weight can also cause your joints to ache from having to support all the weight. Jumping and climbing stairs can causes even more pain. In some cases the cartilage is worn down with all the pressure causing your bones to start rubbing against one another. This make things much more painful and can cause you to move less which only exaggerates the problem.Breathing Problems - Another problem is when you exert yourself you have problem breathing. I personally have experienced this one and because of the extra weight it takes more energy to move as freely as I would like. This causes more muscle activity which burns more oxygen causing me to breath heavy just climbing a flight of stairs with any enthusiasm. Sometimes I like to go out with my kids and have fun outside but I just can't keep up with them because my body has to work twice as hard to keep up with all the weight.

If there is a chance that you are overweight, don't think that the other problems you have aren't related. Sleep apnea is a common problem for people who are overweight. Having achy joins, particularly in the knees and feet, can also be cause by being overweight. Breathing problems can also result from being overweight. There are many side effects of weight gain and if you are not careful, they can lead to serious problems.

Health Benefits of Omega 3 Fish Oil For Obesity - Discover How These Oils Can Help You Burn More Fat

Although not one of the better known ones, the health benefits of omega 3 fish oil for obesity are now clearly documented, although it's not a miracle pill. The right oil will help you to lose weight as well as providing many other important benefits.

So how does omega 3 work?

Its main benefit for obesity is that it can reduce high insulin and triglyceride fats levels significantly.

Your body will first try to use the insulin levels for energy but if these are not high, it turns to the stored fat instead, helping you to burn off more.

The health benefits of omega 3 fish oil for obesity also include the fact that, according to an Australian study, when you exercise, these omega 3 fats help to activate enzymes associated with fat burning and boost your metabolism.

They also act as an appetite suppressant, helping you to feel full and therefore less likely to eat!

Studies show that people who consumed fish oil burned 25% more fat per day than those who did not.

What other benefits can you get with omega 3?

Let's not forget of course the wealth of other benefits you get with these oils including a significantly reduced chance of sudden death from a premature heart attack or stroke, stronger immune system, improved vision, enhanced brain health and mental well-being and much more.

How do you find the best fish oil supplements?

With so many to choose from today, it can be hard to make the right choice. Here is a brief guide to show you how to get the maximum benefits without any risks.

The purer the oil, the more benefits it will provide. To ensure that all the many toxins from the fish are removed, the oil should be molecularly distilled, just check the label.

The oil should be fresh and never have a strong fishy smell or give you those fishy burps. You can open a capsule and smell to see the quality. If there is a strong smell then the oil will be rancid or stale and offer very little benefits, especially for weight loss.

Recent research has shown that a fish oil supplement rich in DHA omega 3 fats provides far more benefits than one that has more of the other main fat, EPA. Again check the label or website to see.

As you can see, once you get the right oil, not only can you gradually and naturally lose weight but you can enjoy better health and mental-well being too.

Burn Belly Fat With These Special Tips

Thousands of Americans wake up every single day and look in the mirror and come to the same conclusion: "I could stand to lose some weight." If you find yourself in this category, you have a wide variety of options to burn belly fat away. The three big options for this are to diet, lift weights and perform cardiovascular exercise. Of course, you should realistically be combining all of these options if you hope to see fast results.

The first option is to go on a diet. If you want to lose weight, simply remember that all you have to do is burn more calories than you take in. What that means is you have to decrease your intake of calories, while increasing the amount of calories you burn.

When you find the right balance the weight will start to fall off. The best way to tackle a diet is by slowly cutting out things and lowering your caloric intake. Start by recording honestly what you eat every day for a week. Count up the approximation of all those calories, figure out an average, and then subtract 500 from that number. You will want to cut out that many calories every day through a combination of your diet and exercise. By doing this you will lose 1 pound every week.

The next option to burning off the weight is to start a weight lifting program. The simple truth is that while muscle may increase your weight initially, these muscles consume fat to grow. Therefore, the more muscle you have, the more fat you will be burning when you are just sitting around doing nothing at all. There are several places to get started with lifting weights and a myriad of different goals that have different programs. The first stop should be a personal trainer who will help guide you through all of these choices and show you all the exercises of the program.

The final option to burn belly fat is cardiovascular exercise. This is a popular option and comes in all kinds of forms. Your goal here should be to get your heart rate up for 20-30 minutes. Of course, it is better to go longer, but it is even better to go harder. For example, you will get way more out of running a single mile then you will from walking two miles. This concept is often lost on people who think that by walking for hours they will shed pounds faster and this is simply not the case. Again you should strive to burn off 500 calories every day and you will lose one pound every week, if not more.

By combining these three options you should burn belly fat in no time. Cutting 500 calories or more every day from your diet and cardiovascular activity will see you losing a pound every week. If you include some weight lifting in there you should be able to cut another pound or two at the start and you will notice results much faster.
