7 Ways To Lose Belly Fat

Have you finally made up your mind to do something about your belly fat? Don't feel discouraged because their are some steps that you can take to flatten out your stomach.

Remember that you didn't get this way overnight. So it will take plenty of dedication and determination to reach your goal of having a flat stomach. I will list for you some very practical steps that you can take starting today! The longer you put it off the harder it will be to lose...besides you owe it to yourself.

Just imagine how much better you will look and feel! You could do all of these steps or just pick out the best ones for your personal situation. These are the same steps that I took to lose my stomach fat. So make sure that you print out a copy for yourself so you can always refer back to it.

Eat More Frequently

I know this may be hard for you especially if you are not used to it. The main reason fat accumulates around our stomach is because it's holding onto fat...your body thinks it's starving if you eat infrequently. So it will hold on to it because it doesn't know when it's going to get the next meal.

You can simply solve this situation by eating every couple of hours...small meals of course! If you start eating this way you will be able to notice a difference in your stomach size in as little as 2 weeks. Do you think you would want to continue if you noticed a difference in this small amount of time? Eating this way will greatly increase your metabolism to a higher level.

Start Exercising

Now that doesn't mean that you have to go out and run a marathon. You could start by walking around your block. Exercising works best if you start slowly and eventually work your way up.You can increase your exercise as your body becomes more accustomed to it.

Since you are trying to lose your stomach, it's good to do core ab exercises but it should be complimentary to your other cardio exercises. It's always best to change-up your workout routine every week to prevent you from getting bored, which effects so many people. You really don't even need a lot of time to workout. Make it a point to at least exercise 20 to 35 minutes. We find time to watch our favorite TV shows for 30 minutes. So why not do something good for our bodies?

Stop Stressing Yourself!

You may not have known this but stress does have a lot to do with the belly fat we accumulate. Stress causes your body to send out hormones that causes us to get fat. It will also cause you to make some very poor unhealthy food choices.

How many times have you been stressed out and instead of grabbing something healthy...you automatically go to the unhealthy foods. We all have done it! You just have to find some ways to deal with everyday stress. Here are some great things that you can do to cope with it.

Take a long walkRead a good bookTake in a good movieTake up yoga or meditationGo bike riding

The key is to find something that you really like to do...to take your mind off stress. We all will go through stress, but at least you will know how to better deal with it.

Get Out Of Bad Relationship

Have you ever notice how many people in bad relationships tend to neglect themselves? Being in a relationship from hell can cause you to make so many bad choices...on all levels!

You will most likely neglect what you are putting in your body, which will eventually lead to weight gain and a fat stomach. So if you are in a bad relationship get out of it fast before it starts effecting your physical health. Sometimes you can drop dead weight without losing it yourself!

Cut Back On The Fast Food

Now hear me out...their is nothing wrong with a good fast food meal every now and then. The big problem with this is that it can be very addicting if you are not careful. Most fast food joints are loaded with trans fats and additives. This type of food will put some serious weight on you fast! If you just have to eat fast food...make sure that you make healthier choices from the menu.

If that restaurant doesn't have any good choices, just find another place that does. It's always best to get into the habit of eating at home, because you have total control of what you are putting in your body. As a rule of thumb, try to limit your fast food consumption to no more that 2 times per week. This will keep you from developing bad habits, because we know that bad habits are very hard to break.

Find Yourself A Workout Partner

If you are really not the self-starter kind of person...it may be a wise decision to find someone to workout with. It could be anyone, a spouse, friend or co-worker. We all know someone that has told them that they need to lose their belly fat, but never really acted out on it.

Sometimes all you need is a little motivation from a friend or family member to get you going in the right direction. It seems like it's so hard to find someone that want's too workout...but it's worth a try!

Write Down Your Plan

You will be much more successful if you have a written plan on how you are going to lose your belly fat. Your chances of success are much greater if you do it this way. If you goal is to go from a 42 inch waist to a 35...write it down and view it frequently.

This may seem very simple, but it often has a big effect on your outcome. Your focus will remain on the task at hand and that is to lose your stomach fat.

Time to take action! These 7 steps are proven and they will work only if you apply them. So take action now! The only thing that is holding you back is...you. Imaging how much better you will look and feel when you finally reach your goals.
