Burn Fat - 5 Ways To Burn Fat In A Healthy Way

1. If you're going to exercise, and we all know it's a good idea, it's best to do it in the morning.

When you exercise in the morning, you help boost your metabolism throughout the day. You get a head start on fat burning, and many studies have shown that when you exercise in the morning, you are more likely to eat right the rest of the day.

2. Eat frequent small meals.

This has been shown more and more as modern scientists and doctors have looked at our eating habits in regard to burning fat. When you eat fewer meals that are larger, you allow the insulin blood sugar reaction to cause you to store fat. But when eating smaller frequent meals, you stabilize your blood sugar and stop that insulin overreaction that can cause obesity.

3. Stop taking elevators and escalators if that's part of your routine.

Take the stairs. At first it might seem a terrible chore, but you'll find as you build the muscles that help you climb the stairs, you'll also be building the muscles that cause you to burn more calories. And as you lose weight, those stairs will get easier and easier.

4. Make sure you get plenty of sleep.

Aim for 7 to 8 hours of sleep. More and more, scientists are finding a relationship between lack of sleep and obesity. It has to do with hormones in your body that are affected negatively from lack of sleep. Those hormones are called ghrelin and leptin. Ghrelin tells your body to eat and leptin tells it to stop. When sleep deprived, ghrelin increases, causing you to eat more. The leptin decreases and keeps you from stopping eating.

5. Park far away from the store or office that you are going to.

It's our normal habit to find the closest parking place, and by doing so we're missing the great opportunity to burn a few more calories and to build the lean muscle that causes us to burn even more calories by speeding up our metabolism.
